Many of the team members, customers and partners from Plex, the leader in cloud ERP for manufacturing, have family and friends living in Flint, Mich., who have been affected by the city’s contaminated water. One of our team members, Marcus Jones from our business development team, saw the need to help and set up a GoFundMe account to bring safe, clean drinking water to the people of Flint.

Michigan is our home state, and as a company we want to do what we can to support the family, friends and community of our greater Plex family. This is why we will match the money Marcus raises through his GoFundMe campaign. If you would like to help, consider making a donation here. We will match your donations through Feb. 12.

We invited our Plex employees to donate to Marcus’s campaign last week and asked them to share the news socially with their networks. The response has been remarkable. What started as a campaign to raise $2,000 for the Flint community has nearly quadrupled in size, as the donations are now above $7,000 – without the Plex match! Even our vendors and investors have made contributions.

The power and caring of the Plex community is something we can all be proud of.
