Annual Charitable Partners
Plex Systems is pleased to announce our support for Gleaner's Community Food Bank and the St. Clair Butterfly Foundation as our focus charities for 2011.Gleaner's Community Food Bank (GCFB)
Through events, charitable programs and other activities, Plex Systems supports Gleaner's Community Food Bank to feed the hungry in their community. For more than 33 years, Gleaners Community Food Bank has been "nourishing communities by feeding hungry people." Last year, Gleaners distributed more than 36 million pounds of emergency food to over 484 partner soup kitchens, shelters and pantries in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Livingston and Monroe counties. Of every dollar donated, Gleaners uses 96 cents for food and food programs. One dollar provides three meals for a hungry neighbor.
St. Clair Butterfly Foundation
Plex Systems Charitable Programs also support the St. Clair Butterfly Foundation. The Foundation serves children and teens facing adversity through creative arts, literature, and overall well-being programs. The Foundation's programs are incorporated into the rehabilitation efforts of several juvenile detention facilities nationwide. Plex Systems supports the St. Clair Butterfly Foundation through a variety of fundraising programs.
