Plex Systems’ marketing team has created an award-winning program for sales lead generation using the latest technology for marketing automation, online advertising, social media, and direct marketing. We have a newly created position within our Marketing Operations team for a Marketing Database Analyst. The focus of the Marketing Database Analyst will be to maintain and streamline the integrity of the marketing database used for sales lead generation. This is a full time opportunity. A remote working situation will be considered for the ideal candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Recommend and implement database strategy
- Recommend and implement database process improvements
- Mining and analyzing data to support marketing database initiatives
- Import all leads from advertising sources, events, road shows and webinars into marketing automation tool
- Provide weekly and monthly metrics associated with the database
- Partner with Marketing Operations to create filter programs in marketing automation tool to streamline key fields
- Provide marketing team members with ad hoc reports from marketing database
- Continuous evaluation and refinement or database content
- Stay current and knowledgeable of best practices marketing automation tools
Qualifications:
- 2 + years of experience analyzing marketing, CRM or related databases
- Familiar with data mining techniques and procedures
- Familiar with database design
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in Economics, Mathematics or related field
- Familiar with Eloqua and Salesforce.com a plus, but not required
