Plexus Online has been designed and constructed from the ground up to be an on-demand solution. It utilizes advanced
architecture to deliver a powerful combination of features, flexibility, accessibility and security.
 Data Vault
All Plexus Online data is stored in a secure Data Vault with solid concrete and steel walls. The Data Vault
protects your data from natural disasters, theft, and other threats.

 Security
Plexus Online is protected by multiple layers of system and physical security, including highly-secure firewalls, detection
and tracking systems, surveillance cameras, and biometric entrance control. Plexus maintains a professional security staff
dedicated to protecting your data.

 Servers
Plexus Online is hosted on over 50 highly-reliable, high-performance Hewlett Packard Servers. Each set of servers performs a specific function. Servers include mirrored hard drives, redundant processors, error-correcting RAM, redundant power supplies, automatic temperature and fault monitoring, and many other advanced capabilities.

 Database
Plexus Online is based on a fully integrated relational database using Microsoft SQL Server running on Windows Advanced Server.

 Data Storage
All data is stored on our advanced Storage Area Network (SAN), which includes RAID 5 and RAID 10 data protection, plus hot spare hard drives and full online redundancy of every component. Servers are attached to the SAN through our fiber optic mesh.

 Connectivity
Users connect to Plexus through private T1 circuits or through one of our multiple Internet pipes: WorldCom (land), Sprint (land), Zing (Wireless), and SatCom Solutions (Satellite).

 SAS-70
Plexus Online is continuously audited by an outside security firm to ensure that it meets all SAS-70 Type II
certification requirements

Communications
Plexus Online uses high-end Cisco routers and switches to handle its communications.

Plexus Online runs on specially-designed electrical infrastructure, including a Kohler backup generator and an online Uninterruptible Power Supply system.

Climate Control
Plexus Online runs in climate controlled rooms using the most sophisticated equipment available.

Backup Site
In addition to its primary Data Center, Plexus also maintains a Backup Site. This site will be used to run Plexus Online in the unlikely event of a catastrophic disaster at the primary site.
