Because Plexus Online has been designed and built from the ground up as a Web-based software solution, it makes the ideal platform for connecting to customers, suppliers, and employees over the Internet.
Certain modules within Plexus Online run on wireless handheld Pocket PC's such as the HP iPaq and other industrial handhelds.
Mobile Computing is used for shop floor control, inventory management, preventive maintenance, tool tracking, and a variety of other functions where mobility is important.

Plexus Online is integrated with freight and postal companies, which allow it to calculate and execute freight transactions. Features include automatic address verification, high volume mail sorting, freight calculations, freight shipments, and real-time freight tracking.
Many of the Plexus Online reports and documents have been equipped with a special feature for direct faxing and emailing. You don't have to save or print the document, and then go through the extra time and hassle to send it out. Instead, you just press a button, and it's faxed or emailed for you.
