Universal Die & Stampings, of Prairie Du Sac, WI, has purchased a complete Plexus Online system. Recently, UDS became one of 18 Wisconsin companies receiving the 2004 Wisconsin Manufacturer of the Year Award in the Special Awards category for manufacturing excellence. UDS is a high-speed precision metal stamping facility that manufactures metal components such as battery caps, relays, electrodes, washers, motor laminations, and contacts. It is the only company in the world to manufacture metal transfer belts, which are used in the can industry.
