Industry Expert Highlights Operational Impact of Rev. C

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Jan. 11, 2012 – Plex Systems Inc., provider of Plex Online, Cloud ERP for manufacturers, today announced the next webinar in its series for the aerospace manufacturing industry, “Operational Impacts of Rev. C,” on Jan. 26, 2012, from 11 a.m. until noon ET.

Led by independent aerospace expert Francis Charbonneau, the webinar will cover the effects that AS9100:2009 Rev. C will have on aerospace and defense manufacturers’ operations. He will be joined by Plex Systems Solutions Engineering Director Bill McGee, who will highlight processes and tools that can help manufacturers make the necessary changes before the July compliance deadline.

Charbonneau will explain the changes necessary for aerospace and defense manufacturers to comply with Rev. C. The changes introduced with Rev. C are of a much broader scope than the changes introduced with Rev. B. Manufacturers must be in full compliance with Rev. C by July 1, 2012, in order to remain on approved supplier lists such as the Online Aerospace Supplier Information System (OASIS). Charbonneau will focus on the new Rev. C requirements in the areas of documentation management, measurement and analysis, and problem-tracking.
