August 28, 2018

Plex Systems, leader in cloud ERP & MES for manufacturing, today announced it is one of Metropolitan Detroit’s Best & Brightest Companies to Work For®.

TROY, Mich., August 28, 2018 – Plex Systems, the leader in cloud ERP and MES for manufacturing, today announced it is one of Metropolitan Detroit’s Best & Brightest Companies to Work For®. This recognition marks a decade of consecutive awards Plex has received from the National Association for Business Resources (NABR), which evaluates metro Detroit companies through direct employee surveys. Organizations are rated on their communication, work-life balance, employee education programs, diversity, recognition, and retention, among other key factors.

Plex’s unique culture and innovative programs empower team members to be successful while building world-class ERP and MES solutions that connect manufacturers’ shop floor to the top floor. Plex serves approximately 600 manufacturing industry leaders which run more than 2,000 facilities on the Plex Manufacturing Cloud in over 20 countries.

Plex Systems: The Best Place to Work

  • Plex fosters a collaborative environment. The company formally surveys its team annually to continuously improve its positive and productive workplace, from benefits to company communications and special projects. Collaborative programs such as weekly Plex Tech Talks, which evangelize Plex’s manufacturing technology innovations, encourage teamwork cross-departmentally and cross-functionally.
  • Plex supports the communities where its team members and customers live and work. In the last year, Plex has supported metro Detroit charities like Rebuilding Together, which works to preserve affordable homeownership and revitalize neighborhoods, and Cards for Kids Michigan, a Plex team member-led organization that contributed more than 3,000 handmade cards to southeast Michigan hospitals for Valentine’s Day.
  • Plex focuses on health and wellness. Plex’s Live Well reimbursement program helps team members and their families get fit and unwind, from getting therapeutic massages to learning how to rock climb. Plex also partners with the Oakland County Animal Shelter for Fitness Unleashed, a dog-walking program that encourages exercising with adoptable dogs. A modern, relaxing work environment with free food and beverages, comfortable spaces, and fun activities also helps team members recharge.

This latest honor from NABR represents Plex’s ongoing commitment to its people. In 2017, the company earned its fifth national Best & Brightest Companies to Work For® award. Plex has also received eight Top Workplace awards from the Detroit Free Press and was recognized in the Wealthfront Career-Launching Companies list for four consecutive years.
