A simple-to-use calendar used to schedule calendars, groups, and various company resources.

This modules provides the ability for the user to define and use various quality checklists, such as APQP Checklist, Team Feasibility Checklist, and more. A Checklist establishes a set of tasks that need to be done in order to prepare for or complete a project, such as a new product line. Each task includes a Description, Department, Due Date, Complete Date. Each section of the checklist may have one or more electronic sign-offs.

This module provides a shared, corporate rolodex of company contacts, including Customer contacts, Supplier contacts and more. Each contact record includes pertinent data such as Name, Phone, Address, and Company. Also includes feature for email notification for follow-up.

A historical log of communication with contacts, customers and suppliers.

The Document Control module provides the ability to store, edit, track and view documents on line. Includes full electronic approval and revision tracking system ideal for ISO/TS 16949. Supports many file types, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, PDF, HTML, and more. This module is usually used to control the Quality Manual, Procedures and Work Instructions. It is also used for the Employee Handbook, Supplier Handbook, and Technical Documentation.

This module streamlines and facilitates the electronic scanning of paper documents into the Document Control System. (The standard DCS allows you to attached documents that have already been scanned with a third party package. The Document Imaging module enables a component within Plex Online to scan the document on the fly, from within Plex Online, which greatly streamlines the process.)

Plex Online can provide email services to its users. The user has the option to use the built in Plex Online email client, which provides a basic hotmail-like User Interface, a high degree of integration with the rest of the system (such as Employees/Contacts), and accessibility from any Web Browser in the world. The user also has the option to use a traditional PC-based email client, such as Outlook, Netscape or Eudora, which provide more independence and flexibility in the user interface.

Plex offers Microsoft Outlook Web Access (OWA) to its customers. OWA, which is accessible over the Internet anywhere in the world, includes Email, Calendar, Tasks, Contacts, Journal and Notes. OWA is fully integrated into Plex Online on the front-end and hosted with Microsoft Exchange on the back end. This module has optional services for Blackberry support and sophisticated SPAM filtering.

Stores a log of automated outgoing e-mails from the system, for verification that automated e-mails are being sent, and to the correct recipients.

A simple-to-use tool for managing and communicating high level Priority Lists for employees. This approach emphasizes ease-of-use and the flexibility of quick changes. For more advanced/detailed task management, use the Activity Manager.

This module provides a place for Plex Online users to discuss various aspects of the product.

The In/Out board give you a company overview of the location of your employees. It is updated by the employee as they arrive and depart.

A simple-to-use system for recording meeting minutes. Useful for ISO/QS-9000 compliance, which requires that key meetings are documented.

Also known as Problem Reporting and Resolution (PR/R), Corrective Action, Customer Concern Log, and a variety of other names. This module is used to record, track, follow-up on, resolve and report upon problems and concerns within the company. It includes forms for the 8-Disciplines of Problem Solving, Corrective Action, Supplier PR/R, Customer Concern, and more.

This module provides the ability to assign one or more actions for Containment, Correction, and Prevention of problems. Problem Control is a requirement of ISO/QS-9000. This system is often used in E-Communication, to assign problems to suppliers, who then use the system online to respond to those problems.

A way to enter information that will automatically be e-mailed to you on the specified reminder date. Recurring reminders are supported.

This modules provides a structure for developing, documenting, and sharing a detailed Strategic Plan for the company.
