Flexible Metal Manufacturer to Use Engineering, Sales, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Human Resources and Accounting Tools
AUBURN HILLS, Mich., (February 5, 2008) -- Plexus Systems, providers of Plexus Online on-demand software for the manufacturing enterprise, today announced it has won a contract to help Microflex Inc. manage its production of flexible metal products for its entire automotive business.
Microflex required a complete system to run every aspect of its business -- from Sales and Engineering through Manufacturing and Shipping, including back office functions such as Accounting and Human Resources. Plexus Systems will maintain Microflex’s data and provide the software, hardware and services to support the Ormond Beach, Florida-based company’s production of automotive fuel, exhaust, and steering components.

Plexus Online is an on-demand enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution that builds on the "software as a service" (SaaS) model pioneered by Salesforce.com and NetSuite. It provides companies instant access to vital information and management functions using a simple web browser from anywhere in the world at any time.
Microflex Inc. will also take advantage of Plexus Online’s secure hosting environment, which includes multiple-location back-ups and satellite access to data.
