About the Author

Monti has over 22 years of experience in consulting, operations, and materials management in multiple manufacturing environments. His experience is in the automotive, medical device, and areospace industries in the following areas: injection and blow molding, sheet metal fabrication, casting, forging, wire-harness assembly, PCB assembly, and box build assembly and he has worked with many Japanese-owned automotive suppliers. He is currently co-leader of the firm’s Plex practice and has project managed and participated in numerious Plex implementations and optimizations. His Plex technical expertise includes engineering, production, quality, maintenance, tooling, and human resources. Prior to joining Plante Moran, Monti was the Plant Manager at Tracewell Systems and a production control supervisor for Tigerpoly, a Tier 1 automotive supplier to Honda.
