Plex Systems Customers Win Top Award for Shaping the Future of Manufacturing

Plex Systems, provider of Plex Online, cloud ERP for manufacturers, announces four of its customers have been named as 2013 Manufacturing Leadership 100 (ML100) award winners.

TROY, Mich., March 21, 2013 – Plex Systems Inc., provider of Plex Online, cloud ERP for manufacturers, today announced that four of its customers have been named as 2013 Manufacturing Leadership 100 (ML100) award winners. ARCA, Avon Gear Company, Creative Foam Corporation and Groeb Farms are recipients of the prestigious award.

The winners will be honored on May 15 at a gala celebration following the ninth annual Manufacturing Leadership Summit in Palm Beach, Fla. Plex Systems is an executive sponsor of the summit.

All four companies won in the Information Leadership category for the following key achievements through the implementation of Plex Online:

• ARCA, one of the largest manufacturers and systems integrators of cash-handling devices in the world, doubled production and market share and achieved 20 percent improvement in efficiencies.
• Avon Gear Company, manufacturer of precision-machined components and subassemblies for the heavy industrial equipment industry, managed 20 percent annual growth, improved inventory accuracy more than threefold and cut report processing time from hours to minutes.
• Creative Foam Corporation, leading supplier of foam fabricating products, achieved 95 percent inventory accuracy, improved processes and went paper-free in six of seven plants.
• Groeb Farms, the world’s largest industrial and food service processor of honey, cut processing time by 600-plus hours annually and reduced the time needed to complete mock recalls by 75 percent.
