August 17, 2017

Plex Systems, the leader in cloud ERP for manufacturing, recognized as one of Metropolitan Detroit’s Best & Brightest Companies to Work For in 2017.

TROY, Mich., August 17, 2017 – Plex Systems, the leader in cloud ERP for manufacturing, today announced it has been recognized as one of Metropolitan Detroit’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For® in 2017. This is the ninth time the National Association for Business Resources (NABR) has recognized Plex. Each year, companies are evaluated on key factors including communication, work-life balance, employee education, diversity, recognition, and retention. NABR surveys employees directly on these and other factors that contribute to a positive and productive workplace.

Plex Systems: An Exceptional Workplace

Plex is the Manufacturing Cloud, providing manufacturing organizations with industry-leading cloud ERP and manufacturing automation solutions that connect everything from the shop floor to the top floor. Plex is one of Michigan’s greatest technology innovation success stories, growing from a five-person startup to over 450 team members serving more than 550 customers today. The Plex Manufacturing Cloud powers factories that make everything from pickles to beer, autonomous robots, car parts and electronic components.

From its founding, Plex has built a unique culture based on people, innovation and customer success.

  • Plex provides innovative workspaces designed to support teamwork and fun, including a spectacular 15th floor open space at the company’s headquarters that includes meeting areas, dining and games.
  • Team members are encouraged to design their own career paths, which Plex supports with continuing education programs, cross-organizational projects, leadership opportunities and connections to external industry experts.
  • Plex company meetings offer all employees a chance to share accomplishments, learn from customers, and receive recognition for both individual and team efforts. Team members come together multiple times each year for social gatherings which have included family trips to Detroit Tigers baseball games, the Henry Ford Museum and even the Detroit Zoo.
  • Plex maintains a strong commitment to community, with programs benefitting the mikeroweWORKS Foundation, the Toys for Tots program, the Flint water crisis, and S.A.Y. Detroit, a not-for-profit that serves Detroit’s neediest citizens.

This award adds to Plex’s long list of honors for its focus on workplace excellence, including four national Best and Brightest Companies to Work For® awards from NABR, inclusion in the Wealthfront Career-Launching Companies list for four consecutive years, and seven Top Workplace awards from the Detroit Free Press.
